Xiamen University (XMU) , established in 1921 by renowned patriotic overseas Chinese leader Mr. Tan Kah Kee, is the first university founded by an overseas Chinese in the history of modern Chinese education. XMU has long been listed among China’s leading universities on the national "211 Project", "985 Project" and "Double First-class" initiative, which have been launched by the Chinese government to support selected universities in achieving world-class standing. Xiamen University Malaysia Campus is the first overseas branch campus established by a prestigious Chinese university.

Kunming Medical University

Guangzhou Medical University (GMU), formerly known as Guangzhou Medical College, founded in 1958, is a medical institution which offers a full range of programmes at undergraduate and graduate levels. GMU has two main campuses. The Yuexiu campus is located in the downtown centre of Guangzhou City, near Liuhua Lake Park and Yuexiu Mountain. The Panyu Campus, is a new 247 acre campus, situated in Panyu District of Guangzhou City near the Pearl River, an ideal place for learning and research.

Fujian Medical University (FJMU) was founded in 1937. With the mission of creating and nurturing a diverse community of elites who are "diligent, prudent, truth-seeking and innovative", for over 70 years, it has developed an integral education system offering bachelor's, master's and doctor's degree programs. In 2003, FJMU was approved by Fujian Provincial People's Government as one of the key universities for priority development.

Established in 1954, Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine (NJUCM) has experienced her historical periods as Jiangsu Provincial Continuation School of Chinese Medicine, Jiangsu Provincial School of Chinese Medicine, Nanjing College of Chinese Medicine, Jiangsu New Medical College and Nanjing College of Chinese Medicine. As one of the earliest established universities of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China, it is a university involved in key construction projects and co-developed by the People’s Government of Jiangsu Province and State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine of the People’s Republic of China.

Xi''an Jiaotong University, a national key university under the direct jurisdiction of the Ministry of Education, is one of the country's oldest institutions of higher learning. Founded in Shanghai in 1896 as Nanyang Public, it was renamed Jiaotong University in 1921. In 1956, at the direction of the State Council, the university was moved to Xi'an, and renamed Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU). As one of the country's national key universities

The history of Yangzhou University Medical college can be traced back to as early as 1950.The predecessor of the college is Subei Health School, which was grown into Yangzhou in 1958 and then Yangzhou medical college in 1984. In 1992, Yangzhou medical college, together with other 5 college, was enrolled to found Yangzhou University (YZU) and became Yangzhou University Medical College.

It is originally founded in 1956 as the first comprehensive since the establishment of new China. Now the university offers 11 disciplines in 4 campuses, occupying an area of 1070 acres.

Wenzhou Medical College (WMC), it’s history can be traced back from Zhejiang Medical School established in Hangzhou in 1912, . in August of 1958, Part of Zhejiang Medical School was moved from Hangzhou to Wenzhou, hence the name changed to Wenzhou Medical College . in 2013, the name changed to Wenzhou Medical University ( WMU)

Southeast University (SEU) is one of the national key universities administered directly under the Ministry of Education of China. It is also one of the first universities accredited by the State Council to determine and approve the qualifications of professors, associate professors and doctorial supervisors. It is also one of the universities of Project 211 and Program 985 that is financed by the central government to build as a world-class university.

Ningxia Medical University, founded in 1958 and previously named as Ningxia Medical College, is the unique higher learning medical institution of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. It is located in Yinchuan, the capital city referred to as “South Beauty beyond the Great Wall” in the northwest

Nanjing Medical University was founded in 1934 as Jiangsu Provincial College of Health Policy and Management. In the year of 1957, it moved from Zhenjiang to Nanjing and changed its name to Nanjing Medical College. In 1962, it became one of the first groups of medical colleges in China to offer six-year medical programs, and in 1981, it was approved to award master and doctoral degrees.In 1993, it was renamed as Nanjing Medical University and is one of the key universities sponsored by Jiangsu Province. In September 2015, NMU has been approved to be one of the first groups of medical universities which are co-sponsored by the Ministry of Education, National Health and Family Planning Commission of the People’s Republic of China and Jiangsu Provincial People’s government.

Jilin University, located in Changchun City, Jilin Province, was founded in 1946. It is a key comprehensive university under the direct jurisdiction of the Ministry of Education, and strongly supported by China’s “Project 211” and “Project 985”. In 2000, Jilin University merged with the former Jilin University of Technology, the former Norman Bethune University of Medical Sciences, the former Changchun University of Science and Technology and Changchun Institute of Posts and Telecommunications. In 2004, the former University of Military Logistics also joined.

China Medical University (CMU) is rated among the top ten medical schools in China and has a history that goes back some 80 years. It was among the first batch of Chinese medical schools approved by the Ministry of Education (MOE) to enroll international students. More so, it features among those select universities certified by MOE to teach medicine in English for international students.

CTGU was founded in June 29, 2000, comprising the former Wuhan University of Hydraulic and Electric Engineering/Yichang and the former Hubei Sanxia College. The history of CTGU can be dated back to 1946, while the bachelor education started from 1978, and the postgraduate and international student education began from 1996. CTGU has the qualification to confer the degrees of bachelor, master and doctor, and to recruit international students of CSC scholarship.
